Hermitage is a collection of rooms, cottages and villas gathered around the Great House — from double rooms with their own verandahs to gingerbread cottages and a four-bedroom villa with a private pool. Each has its own character, furnished and decorated in its own way, coming together like houses in a village.
It’s worth choosing by how you want to experience Hermitage, not simply by the rate. This page is here to help.
Our Rooms, Cottages and Villas
Hillside Rooms
Four ground-level double rooms set in various corners of the gardens, each with its own covered verandah and hammock.
Balcony Rooms
Three light and airy double rooms near the pool and gardens, each with its own porch or covered balcony — a little more open, with more of the sky brought into the room.
Gingerbread Cottages
Little houses of their own, more spacious than our rooms, each with a master bedroom, separate sitting room, kitchenette and porch — suited to couples, families or a few friends.
Six one-bedroom cottages in four sizes, sleeping from two to five guests.
Yellow Manor House
A three-bedroom replica of a grand Nevisian house, with wide verandahs on both levels, generous living and dining spaces, a full kitchen and a private pool — ideal for families or friends travelling together.
Sleeps up to six.
Rose Villa
Our most spacious accommodation, with four bedrooms, two sitting rooms, generous indoor and outdoor living space, a full kitchen, five bathrooms and a private pool — particularly well suited to families and groups travelling together.
Sleeps up to eight comfortably, with additional sleeping space available by arrangement.

A Gingerbread Cottage gives you a bedroom, separate sitting room, kitchenette and porch.

If you are travelling as a family or with friends and want your own house
Rose Villa is our largest option, with four bedrooms, two sitting rooms and its own pool.

What Every Hermitage Stay Shares
Wherever you stay at Hermitage, these come as standard:
- Breakfast each morning in the restaurant
- Daily housekeeping — opt out if you prefer
- Use of the shared guest pool; Yellow Manor House and Rose Villa also have private pools
- Use of the tennis court, with rackets and balls available
- Our restaurant and bar, open to resident guests and visitors alike
- Complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the rooms and cottages
- Parking on the property
- Help at reception with airport and port transfers, taxis, car rentals, restaurant reservations and activities
- In-room refrigerator, coffee and tea, bottled drinking water, hairdryer, toiletries, iron and ironing board
- Laundry service available for an additional charge

Good to Know
No accommodation at Hermitage is air-conditioned — rooms, cottages and villas alike. Ceiling and floor fans, window screens and the hillside breeze do that work instead.
Two of the three Balcony Rooms are on the first floor, reached by a staircase, as is one of the cottages. Hermitage is a hillside property of lawns, garden paths and historic buildings, so guests with mobility concerns are welcome to contact us before booking and we can advise on the most suitable option.
Cots and cribs are available in every category on request, at no charge. Dogs are welcome. Smoking indoors is not.
