Balcony Rooms
Three light and airy double rooms, each with its own porch or covered balcony — a little more open, with the gardens, pool and sky close by.
Sleeps: 2
Beds: 1 double bed
Bathroom: 1 ensuite bathroom
Kitchen: No kitchen
Outdoor space: Private porch or covered balcony with seating
Wi-Fi: Complimentary Wi-Fi
A Little More Open
Balcony Rooms suit guests who like their room to extend naturally outdoors. Each has its own porch or covered balcony, with somewhere to sit, read, have a drink or simply take in the air.
They offer the same easy double-room stay as a Hillside Room, but with a little more openness around you. If you would prefer a separate sitting room and kitchenette, have a look at the Gingerbread Cottages.
A Little More Air and Sky
Each Balcony Room has its own private outdoor space — a porch or covered balcony with somewhere to sit, read or have a drink.
The three rooms are not identical, and their exact outlooks differ, but all share that sense of light, air and connection to the gardens.

What Is Included
Breakfast is included with every stay.
A little Hermitage hospitality
We think breakfast is an important part of hospitality, and therefore include it with your stay. Afternoon refreshment is an important tradition too, so around 5pm we like to offer our guests tea, coffee or a little rum punch in the Great House — just about the time the monkeys tend to pass through the garden.
Richie
Beyond that, you have daily housekeeping, use of the pool with towels provided, Wi-Fi, drinking water, coffee and tea in the room, plus the restaurant, bar and tennis court. The Hermitage team is close at hand if you need a taxi, car rental, help planning a day out, or another practical detail taken care of.
Where They Are
The Balcony Rooms are set near the pool and gardens, within easy walking distance of the Great House.
As Hermitage is built on a hillside, access varies from room to room. If stairs or mobility are a consideration, please let us know before booking and we can advise you.
